State Convention Results

Thanks to all of the state delegates who represented Iron County. Here are the results for the state convention:

Morgan Philpot: 671 votes = 60.13%
Neil Walter: 445  votes = 39.87%
No primary in this race; Morgan Philpot is the GOP’s candidate in District 2.

Tim Bridgewater – 57.28%
Mike Lee – 42.72%
The Republican nomination will be in decided in a primary June 22nd.

Gary R. Herbert – 70.8% (Total Votes – 2386)
Daniel Van Oaks, Jr. – 24.63% (Total Votes 830)
Richard Martin – 4.18% (Total Votes 141)
Gov. Gary R. Herbert is the Republican nominee for Governor of Utah.

Dennis Stowell took the nomination over Matthew Sorenson and Matthew Carling. More information is forthcoming.
